Karachi: Pakistan and Bangladesh Cricket Boards of reached to the weak relations of point of no return. Bangladesh cricket team last year postponed the tours to Pakistan last year that made the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unhappy.
Bangladesh knew that due to their ill-attitude Pakistan would not send its players to their land hence no Pakistani player has been approached for the Bangladesh Premier League that is all set to begin from 10 Th of September 2013, next week. According to the PCB sources, the management had not contacted the board for the tournament. Hammad Azam and Umer Amin thought wanted to go for the league but they had not given application to the NOC for the matter.
Last year, Pakistan had not issued NOC to its players for BPL. BPL had been banned for sometime for being allegedly involved in match fixing. Spokesman of Bangladesh Cricket Board Jalal Younus said that the board has decided to carry on the tournament without Pakistani players, hence ‘green-shirts’ would not be seen in BPL this year.
The Bangladesh team had declined for Pakistani tour last year owing to the security threats. Since last year the country witnessed instable law and order situations.
